Ever wondered why many turn to acupuncture for pain relief and wellbeing?
Acupuncture is a time-witnessed practice that allows us to harness the body’s own healing power for pain relief and a return to our balanced state.
More than just offering short-term symptom relief, it also targets the root causes of symptoms. The point of acupuncture? Empowering your body to be its best.

In this guide, we’ll take you through what you can expect during your treatment so that you can feel at ease and relaxed.
We’ll begin by getting to know you and understanding your needs. This is the time for you to share your concerns, ask questions, and help us tailor a treatment plan that’s perfect for you
Next, we will prepare the treatment room. We provide a comfortable treatment table, soothing music, and a heat lamp to keep you warm and improve circulation, as well as air conditioning to maintain a comfortable temperature in the room.
We tailor each acupuncture treatment to the individual patient’s preferences, using a variety of insertion techniques to ensure a comfortable and relaxing experience. Our goal is to make the treatment as pleasant and beneficial for you as possible.
Throughout your acupuncture session, we will explain each step of the process before we begin, so you know exactly what to expect. Fee free to let us know if you experience any discomfort or need to adjust your position.
Needle retention lasts about 20 to 30 minutes, during which time you are encouraged to relax. Many people find acupuncture to be a very relaxing and meditative experience.
After the 20-30 minutes are up, we will remove the needles. You may feel a slight sensation as the needles are taken out, but most people do not experience any pain.
We may offer dietary and lifestyle recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of the treatment. We may also suggest follow-up treatments, specifically tailored to your health goals.
We hope that this guide has given you a better understanding of what to expect during your acupuncture session, we are here to help you on your journey to health and wellness, and we prioritise your comfort and well-being throughout your treatment.
