Jack – Registered Acupuncturist & Chinese Medicine Practitioner

Jack has over 5 years of clinical experience in acupuncture and Chinese medicine. He is trained in both Western medical sciences and traditional Chinese medicine, and integrates these perspectives in clinical assessment and treatment. His work focuses on musculoskeletal conditions, pain management, sleep, and stress-related presentations.

 

Before studying Chinese medicine, Jack worked in customer service and management roles across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. This experience informs his communication style and approach to patient care.

 

After completing his studies and clinical training, Jack had the opportunity to work with experienced practitioners in established clinics.

 

Dr Kang-Xia Li possesses extensive clinical experience in acupuncture and herbal medicine, with over 30 years in practice. He holds a PhD from RMIT University and has been involved in supervising Chinese medicine students in a clinical setting. He is the founder of Tong Kang Lee Chinese Medicine Centres.

 

Dr Zhen Zheng has over 25 years of experience in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Her caring approach to patients and clinical skills are highly respected and sought after. She has a PhD from University of Melbourne, and is an associate professor and clinical supervisor at RMIT University. Dr. Zheng specialises in using acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine to treat pain, insomnia, peri-menopausal conditions, and other health conditions. She is an international leader in the field of acupuncture for pain management, and her work has made significant contributions to the field.

 

Jack provides acupuncture and Chinese medicine treatments based on individual presentation. Treatment may include acupuncture, cupping, electro-acupuncture, and related techniques where appropriate. Where herbal medicine is prescribed, he uses concentrated herbal extracts sourced from established Taiwanese TCM pharmaceutical manufacturers, produced in accordance with ISO manufacturing standards and supplied in line with Australian regulatory requirements.

 

He is an approved provider for My Homecare Group, offering in-home acupuncture services for patients who require care in their own environment.

 

He practices in a private clinical setting with individual treatment rooms. All treatments are conducted using single-use, sterile needles, with strict adherence to infection control, hand hygiene, and clinical safety protocols. The clinic environment is maintained to a high standard, with attention to cleanliness, patient privacy, and comfort throughout each session.
