  • Just to clarify, Medicare covers acupuncture when provided by a medical doctor. However, as an AHPRA registered acupuncturist, our services aren’t covered by Medicare. But don’t worry, many private health insurance plans offer coverage for acupuncture treatments.

 

  • Your private health insurance, TAC, or Worksafe might cover part of your acupuncture costs. Check your extras cover before your appointment.

 

  • We have a HICAPS terminal for instant private health fund rebate claims. Bring your private health insurance membership card or have your app ready.

 

  • Herbal products aren’t usually covered. We’ll provide a receipt for any potential rebate claims. Check with your insurer for details.
